FECOD 2025, a year of reunion

2025 marks the rebirth of competitive Call of Duty in Spain. FECOD consolidates its project with events, CDL, sponsors and record growth figures.

The yearño 2025 remainsá marked as a turning pointón for the competitive Call of Duty in Spainña.

In less than twelve months the national scene wentó from being absolutely null to becoming a seed that miraculously germinatedó in a áarid and dry terrain.

Finally, it materializedó with the birth and consolidationón of the Federación Spainñwave of Call of Duty.

In-person events, international broadcasts, strategic allianceségical, new competitive formats and a growth in audience and community defined a season of reunion.

 

March: The Origin

On March 6, it was announcedó LoD Valencia, an event that was bornó prátactically out of nothing, but which symbolizedósomething very much más big: the return of face-to-face competitive Call of Duty to Spainña.

 

April: LOD Valencia and first alliances

The tournament was heldó at the Ramboot Arena in Valencia, and brought togetheró for the first time in yearsños players, teams and fans around a national event. The Ultra Instinct team, formed by TojoR, Surnas, Ganstachi and envyN, proclaimedó championón, writing the first page of a new stage.

The two ías April 26 and 27 confirmed that the interestés of the community remained intact and that Spainña was prepared to recover its competitive space.

In additionás, not only the community feltíthat attractionón. Dayang Sport alsoén saw a future for the project and supported itó as a sponsor of the event.

 

May: FECOD is born and the CDL is seen again in Spainñol

Without a doubt, the most importantámonth, since a project was borníthat, without the support of many, will not continueía standing. The Federación Spainñwave of Call of Dutyfue presentada, se consiguieron los derechos para retransmitir la Call of Duty League, y se realizó el co-stream del Major 4 de la CDL.

Además, vio la luz la web oficial "fecod.es", sentando las bases del proyecto a nivel digital y profesional.

 

Junio: COD Champs y el sueño de Heretics

FECOD dio un paso más con una Watchparty del COD Champs en las oficinas de Team Heretics, incluyendo el desplazamiento de un enviado especial.
Miami Heretics rozó la gloria y finalizó en un Top 4, dejando una de las actuaciones internacionales más destacadas de un equipo español en los últimos años.

 

Julio: Presencia internacional en el EWC

Miembros de FECOD estuvieron presentes en Arabia Saudí cubriendo el Esports World Cup, reforzando la presencia internacional de la escena española y acompañando a KOI y Heretics en uno de los eventos más importantes del calendario.

 

Agosto: Lucky se retira

Agosto estuvo marcado por la cobertura de los equipos españoles en el EWC de Warzone.

Por otro lado, tuvimos que rendir homenaje a Lucky en su despedida como jugador profesional de Call of Duty, reconociendo su trayectoria y su impacto en la escena nacional, así como su título de Leyenda del COD español.

Septiembre: Miami Heretics & FECOD

FECOD tuvo el placer de realizar una entrevista a Jorge “Goorgo” Orejudo, cofundador de TeamHeretics, and finally,ó was announced together with Miami Heretics the FECOD Competitive Circuit, anticipating the return of a competitive national structure stable.

 

October: Community and sponsors

October brought two key announcements:

  • The FECOD partner system, designedñado to actively engage the community
  • The incorporationón of Torneum as a new strategic sponsoré.

Both make up several of the fundamental pillars of FECOD, and without them, the sense of belonging would not beíto it. Because you alsoén formáis part of the Federationón in one way or another.

 

November: Draft by FECOD

This was the month of Draft by FECOD, one of the most ambitious projects of the yearño and the cover letterón of the Federación for the new season. The Sinapsis team, Hitmarkerianos, achievedó the victory and were proclaimed champions of the first competitive event in the history of the Federationón.

ó Inkrementum joins as a sponsor, increasing the seriousness and quality of the Federationón.

We did not leave the CDL aside, since the co-stream of the Monster Energy Launch Invitational was carried outó, as well así and the recoveryón of the rights to broadcast the CDL on español.

Finally, úlastly, a new collaboration was announcedó with EVA Madrid.

 

December: The FECOD Circuit and the CDL begin

The FECOD Circuit is already a reality. A format with qualifiers that leads to three large in-person events throughout the season.

The Opening was heldStage Qualifier 1 together with Nazgul Nation and the second together with Ultra Agency with Los Lentejas and Grow Up Esports as winners of a free TeamPass for the first COD Clash in Valencia.

The first co-streams of the Major 1 of the CDL began and the ladders were activated in Torneum with a special announcement from its founder, DavidAlphaSniper97” Díaz. In additionás, the return of Dayang Sport as a sponsor for the season

was confirmedó

And, finally, the official rebranding of FECOD was announced, a change of image, designño and quality that improves the presence of the Federation, así as their professionalism.

 

Consistency, professionalism and commitment

The yearño 2025 has been full of people who have supported all of FECOD's work, whether in streams, posts or vídeos. Players, content creators, clubs, sponsors and fans have been an active part of the visibility, trust and commitment at a key moment for the reconstructionón of a badly wounded ecosystem.

Every interactionón, every broadcastón and every message of support has served to demonstrate that competitive Call of Duty in Spainña continues to have a community that is alive, involved and eager to grow and return to where it deserves.

Más allá of the emotional, the Spanish Federationón Call of Duty wave has left these figures since its foundationón in the month of May:

Months like May, June and November concentrated the highest peaks of impact, coinciding with major announcements, eventsin person and online, and international broadcasts.

Especially notable was November, with récord figures of impressions, interactions and views thanks to the Draft by FECOD and the intense competitive activity.

 

A starting point, not an end

This 2025 was not a yearñof arrival, but of reconstructionón. The Spanish Federationón Call of Duty wave laidó the foundations of a project that reconnects players, clubs and fans, returning to the national competition the visibility, structure and ambition that it deservesía.

The road continuesúa, Call of Duty always comes back, the story is not over.
